Hi! I’m Michelle Hawk: Shaman, Healer, Spiritual Mentor.

As a child, I was highly attuned to energy - sensitive, empathic, and deeply connected to animals and nature. This innate gift led me to begin studying and practicing Shamanism at the age of 15. Since then, I've immersed myself in various modalities of healing and energy work, studying under numerous mentors and teachers.

There were so many times, particularly during the beginning of my journey, where I felt confused, frustrated and as though I was fumbling around in the dark. I was going through intuitive healership initiations and mediumship awakening. The thing that made the biggest difference for me was the personal guidance and mentorship of powerful teachers and healers

I have been so blessed to receive support from some fantastic mentors over the last 20+ years. What Is Shamanic Mentorship & Spiritual Coaching?

New clients always ask, “What is your process for 1:1 mentorship? What do you do with your clients?”

There is no standard answer to that because every client is on a unique path, but there is a general method and process to my mentorship style. I draw upon a vast array of tools, techniques and decades of training to support each client in their individual journey.

Evaluation/Assessment

I help you understand your unique path, your initiations and yourself.

When you’re deep in an transformational portal and you’re not even sure what’s going on, it can seem impossible to make sense of anything, let alone formulate a coherent action plan. With my 20+ years of training and practice, I can help you sort out and understand your spiritual process. We’ll evaluate your primary needs and chart the course for our work together in healing, practice and spiritual skill development.

Healing and Energy Work

I help you clear obstacles and bring in healing energies.

According to your unique needs, we may work with Shamanic and energy healing techniques, intuitive mediumship practice to invite in healing spirits, Shamanic journeying, soul retrieval, past life and karmic clearing. We may also work with nervous system regulation, trauma release techniques and movement practices. If appropriate, I can help guide you in a personal healing ritual or ceremony.

Teaching and instruction

I give you spiritual teachings and practices that you can immediately apply in your life.

According to your journey, I’ll share teaching and instruction about specific principles and tools of spiritual practice from Shamanism, Alchemy, and other lineages. Being on a spiritual journey can feel lonely and isolating if you don’t have anyone in your life who gets it. Believe me, I get it. Our work is a safe place to process all the “weird” spiritual stuff you can’t share with anyone else. This is also a space for personal inquiry, guidance, support and reflection. I’ll help you understand exactly how these particular spiritual forces are working in your life, and perspective to grow from that understanding. Why is a consultation required for Shamanic Mentorship and Spiritual Coaching?

I personally interview all potential clients to make sure we are a great fit to work together. A consultation gives me the opportunity to assess your needs so I can offer the best support for your path. If for any reason I believe another practitioner or offering would be a better fit for you, I will make a recommendation or referral accordingly. Schedule your consultation here.

How is Shamanic Mentorship different from therapy or life coaching?

Shamanism is an ancient wisdom tradition rooted in animistic consciousness, intuition, deep inquiry, Earth Wisdom and mystical teachings. It incorporates a holistic approach to spiritual, emotional, mental and physical well-being. Shamanic mentorship draws upon many tools of Shamanic healing, ritual, meditation, somatic awareness and movement practice for the purpose of accessing deep wisdom and aligning one’s life with powerful spiritual forces. Shamanic mentorship is not, nor does it replace, medical treatment, therapy, counseling or psychoanalysis. While Shamanic mentorship draws upon coaching as a tool for processing and inquiry, it extends far beyond the scope of life coaching to include Shamanic practices and techniques.

What is the difference between Shamanic mentorship and Shamanic healing?

Shamanic mentorship is a longer, more in-depth container that includes not only Shamanic healing, but also training and instruction in Shamanic practices and energy techniques. Shamanic healing is ideal for people who wish to receive direct support for a personal healing challenge. Shamanic mentorship is for people who not only want to receive healing support, but also spiritual guidance, teaching, accountability and long-term growth and transformation. I offer both — let’s talk and see which path of support is right for you!

Do I need prior experience with Shamanism to work with you?

No. I support people at all levels of experience in Shamanism. However, I have found that clients who come into this work with at least a basic understanding of energy, personal growth and meditation are able to access deeper levels of transformation and feel more confident implementing new tools into their practice. Can Shamanic mentorship be done online?

Yes! Shamanic mentorship sessions are available online via Zoom for clients worldwide, with the same depth and effectiveness as in-person sessions. I recommend remote clients set themselves up in a quiet space to receive their Shamanic mentorship sessions with minimal interruptions or distractions.

What results can I expect from Shamanic mentorship?

You are fully responsible for your results in this work. While I am absolutely convinced that you will derive great benefits from Shamanic mentorship and that you will get out of it as much as you desire, I of course cannot guarantee specific results. I can guarantee, however, that you will receive deep, personalized support for your unique journey. You will learn a lot of usable and applicable tools that, when followed by others, have achieved great results. How do I schedule my sessions?

Once you're enrolled, you'll receive a private booking link to schedule your sessions as you like. You are responsible for putting yourself on my calendar. Sessions must be used within 6 months.

What if I can't get a time I want or I don't use all my sessions?

If there are absolutely no booking times that work for your schedule, please let me know and we can work it out. Sessions do not roll over from month to month, so please make sure to use them! Sessions that are unused by the end of the month expire, unless you arrange otherwise with me at least two weeks in advance.

Where do we meet?

If you are in the Portland area, you are welcome to come meet with me in person at my temple home on sacred forested land in the Columbia River Gorge. If you’re not local or prefer to meet virtually, we’ll meet on Zoom.

How long are Shamanic Mentorship and spiritual Coaching sessions?

Shamanic mentorship and spiritual coaching sessions are 75-90 minutes long. I recommend you block out a little extra space in your calendar so you can integrate and be present with the energies after your session.

How will I know if I'm accepted?

I personally interview all potential clients. If it feels like we're a great fit to work together, I will invite you to come work with me!

How does payment work?

Upon acceptance into Shamanic Mentorship and Spiritual Coaching, you will receive a payment form. If you choose to pay in full, your payment will process immediately. If you choose to make payments, you will be immediately billed for the first of payment. The remaining payments will deduct automatically every month. You are responsible for completing all remaining payments.

What’s your refund policy?

After completing your first payment, you may request a refund (minus $100 admin fee and minus payment software processing fees) within 48 hours. After that time period, there are no refunds for any reason whatsoever. Unused funds that are not eligible for a refund may be applied to other work together within 6 months.
