I get it. There is a looming sense of urgency and emergency. I am catching myself in moments of hypervigilance to news updates, pulling myself out of presence and stability with the feeling like I have to DO SOMETHING NOW.
But then I stop, and drop into my practices. And I remember that I’m not dancing because everything is fine and groovy — I’m dancing to clear and regulate myself, to feel strong and healthy in my body and to incorporate spirits to come deliver their healing energy into the Earth plane. I dance in service to community, connection, liberation and unbridled aliveness.
I remember that journeying, dreaming and entering trance states isn’t escapism, bypassing or “just sitting there.” Trance states give us access to space out of space and time out of time, where true magic occurs and divine inspiration catalyzes new visions. Journeying retrieves wisdom and medicine for the path ahead. All revolutions start with a vision.

Your awakening and Shamanic calling isn’t going away just because we’re in a fascist takeover — in fact, your calling is part of the medicine the world so desperately needs right now.

Yes, personal healing is part of the journey. But this is beyond personal healing and development. This is beyond you, or me, or any one of us.
This calling lives within the context of WE. WE the people. WE the humanimals. WE the children of Gaia. WE the citizens of the global collective.
